Where the MS-50G+ is a general purpose utility pedal, the MS-70CDR+ is specialised. All 149 effects here are about space and movement, chorus, delay, reverb and the tone shaping that sits around them.

  • 43 chorus and modulation effects: phasing, flanging, tremolo, vibrato, detuning and pitch shifting as well as straight chorus.
  • 29 delays: mono and stereo, with delay times up to 4 seconds, covering tape echo, ping-pong and multi-tap.
  • 33 reverbs: spring and plate at one end, giant hall and arena at the other.
  • 44 dynamics and filter effects: EQs, compression, noise reduction and special effects to finish a patch.
  • 6 effects at once: stack up to six blocks and build something that does not exist as a single pedal.
  • 100 patch slots for your own creations, plus 80 preset patches to start from.
  • Expanded controls: each effect exposes a wide parameter set rather than one or two token knobs.
  • Guitar Lab: the Stereo Guitar Graphic EQ7 was added in June 2026.

Description

The MS-70CDR+ does one thing and does it in considerable depth. It is a single stompbox holding 149 spatial effects, from a subtle chorus behind a clean tone to an arena reverb you can lose a guitar inside. If the drive sounds on your board are already sorted, this is the pedal that handles everything after them.

Modulation

Forty three chorus and modulation effects add depth and motion. The count includes the obvious ones, chorus and flanger and phaser, but also tremolo, vibrato, detuning and pitch shifting, which means the same pedal covers gentle thickening and outright pitch chaos depending on where you set it.

Delay

Twenty nine delays, mono and stereo, with times running up to 4 seconds. Tape echo, ping-pong and multi-tap are all in there. Four seconds is long enough that the delay stops behaving like an echo and starts behaving like a bed underneath what you are playing.

Reverb

Thirty three studio quality reverbs, from spring and plate for short, period correct spaces through to giant hall and arena settings. Most of the useful work happens between those extremes, and having thirty three to pick from means matching the reverb to the song rather than accepting the one your amp happens to offer.

Dynamics, filters and building patches

A further 44 effects cover EQ, compression, noise reduction and special effects, so a patch gets finished properly rather than merely coloured. Up to six effects run at the same time, which is the real point of the pedal. A compressor into a detuned chorus into a multi-tap delay into a hall reverb would take four pedals and a lot of cable, and here it is one patch. There are 100 slots for saving your own, and 80 presets already built if you would rather start from something that works.
