The F6 offers versatile recording options: it supports SD, SDHC, and SDXC cards up to 512GB for onboard storage, or it can function as a 6-in/4-out USB audio interface for Mac and PC, with the ability to record to both simultaneously for redundancy or flexible workflows. Locking Neutrik XLR inputs ensure secure connections, while time-code I/O supports dropframe and non-dropframe formats for seamless synchronization with other devices. For added convenience, the F6 can be controlled remotely via the free Zoom F Control App for iOS, allowing users to manage recording, transport functions, file renaming, and metadata entry from a distance.
